About Us

Step by Step has been a well-known name within the Rochester community for more than 20 years! Our outpatient, insurance-based clinic works directly with the whole family to provide support for physical, occupational, speech, and feeding therapy.

Please note, we will be transitioning to our new name, Sprout Therapy Group, but will continue to provide the same great services with the same skilled team!

Our approach begins with holistic, client-centered evaluations that look at the whole child—their strengths, challenges, interests, and goals. We focus on what matters most to each child and family, considering developmental level alongside age to create meaningful, individualized care.

We partner closely with caregivers in goal setting, treatment planning, and home programming, while honoring each family’s values, culture, and unique circumstances. We strive to create a supportive, respectful environment where every child and family feels heard, valued, and understood.

Our therapy is guided by evidence-based practices and delivered through developmentally appropriate, play-based approaches that support natural learning and engagement. We emphasize functional, participation-focused goals that help children build skills for everyday life.
